I am beginning my 11th year of teaching. I grew up in Minnesota, which is where most of my family still resides. While in MN, I taught first grade. In addition to my Early Childhood Education degree, I also received a Masters Degree in Education. I then moved to North Carolina and became a Reading Specialist and worked for five years with students in grades 1st-6th. I have also added on an ESL license and most recently have became a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy. This is my fifth year teaching 3rd grade English Language Arts at E.J. Hayes.
